Artisan Spotlight: Ayala Bar

Israeli-born (and current resident) artist Ayala Bar graduated art school with a rather broad range of experiences and artistic talents, from theater to interior design.
The late 1980’s found Ayala surfacing as a prominent jeweler in Israel, specializing in a unique blend of natural elements and glass, metals and assorted fabrics to create a very rich and and very hard-to-replicate mosaic tone to her jewelry pieces. Ayala Bar is well known as a strongly independent artist with limited-edition pieces that reflect strong artisan skill in both composition and innovative use of raw materials.
