She admires the subtle movement in each second that can affect the shape and intricacies of each glass art piece, and often compares the constant moving and responding of the glass blowing process to dancing. Dottie graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelor of Art, emphasis in photography and glass, where she learned an abundance of processes such as glass casting and hot and cold blow molds from renowned glass artist Jack Wax. Dottie recently announced the opening of her very own studio in Fort Collins, Colorado with the birth of Glass Rocks, LLC.
