Ed Branson has applied on day-to-day experience in his studio to the world of glass art since 1982. As a constant in his life, Ed has explored the original art form with some of the world's glass masters as well as honing his knowledge and feel for the materials through dedicated practice.

In 1979, Ed Branson earned a B.A. from Earlham College, in Richmond, IN. Over the span of two decades, Ed studies with several renowned glass artists, eventually converting an 80 year old apple barn into the studio where he produces his work, applying a simple artistic approach: Trust the glass, have fun, accept mistakes, study nature and search for beautiful forms and colors inherent in glass' personality.
